Pushing the boundaries

Pushing the boundaries

Do you choose to accept the norm or work with someone constantly pushing the boundaries?

We think we’re recognised as a business which likes to push boundaries, always aiming to set and deliver new benchmarks when it comes to our pest control service.

As such, we it comes to meeting legislation or training requirements, we always ask ourselves – ‘what more can we do?’.

The qualifying standard needed to become a BPCA member is a Level 2 in Pest Management.  We want to better that, which is why we have taken the decision to upskilling our workforce with the Advanced Technician in Pest Management qualification. That will become our own standard and one which we feel will be beneficial to all concerned.

Clients can rest assured they are in the hands of a quality pest controller. Staff will benefit from investment in their career development paths and we benefit from a workforce which feels valued and valuable.

Martin Harvey, MD, said: “We’re always looking for new ways to improve our service to clients and to ensure the continual development of our staff.

“The advanced technician certification tests knowledge, ability to think quickly and experience and knowledge as an all-around Pest Control Technician.

“To take this qualification you must be a Pest Technician with around 2 years’ experience and have passed the RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management.

“By the time staff come to complete the advanced training they already have a good working knowledge of the industry and understand the customer pressure points.”
