News that food hygiene inspectors are visiting a new client in the hospitality industry would have some pest control experts dreading the results, but for the team here at Harvey Environmental Services, it led to some very high praise.
Giovanni Testoni, Head of Operations at Bem Brasil had worked with Harvey Environmental Services in his previous roles at restaurants in the North West and got back in touch when he joined the Brazilian restaurant chain with concerns about their current pest control team.
“I have known Martin and his team for about 10 years and know that they are the best pest control team in the area,” said Giovanni. “It was clear that Bem Brasil needed to work with someone with the dedication and expertise of Martin and his staff and we have not been disappointed.
“Very soon after they took over our pest control, our Northern Quarter restaurant was routinely visited by Manchester City Council’s food hygiene assessors. After looking around the restaurant and at our paperwork, they said we had done the right thing appointing Harvey Environmental Services because they are the best at what they do.
“We received a four out of five grading and are confident that by continuing to work closely with the team at Harvey, we will have nothing to fear in future inspections at any of our sites. We’re also looking forward to working with them at the planning stage of new restaurants to ensure our sites are designed with a high standard of pest control in mind.”
Bem Brasil currently has restaurants in the Northern Quarter and Deansgate areas of Manchester, as well as in Altrincham, Leeds and Liverpool. They offer an intimate and authentic Brazilian dining experience.
